A week ago, I felt that everywhere I looked, there was someone with a PlayStation Portable on his hand or hanging down his neck. So I decided it’s about time I bought one.
And so I did.
Here are the games I got for my PSP:
1. Patapon is a fun game. You get to be a god and command a group of warriors by using a set of drums.
2. The Sims 2
I prefer the look and feel of the original Sims game.
3. I used to play NBA Live on my Sega Genesis system. I think the first NBA Live game I had was NBA Live 97.
4. Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories is the first GTA game I ever played. Five minutes into the game and I found out why mothers hate this game.
5. Ridge Racer is fast! Fast and Furious fast!
6. I fell in love with Final Fantasy VIII when I used to have the first PlayStation. I knew Tactics is a different game with different gameplay, but as a friend once said, “You can never go wrong with a Final Fantasy game”. And he’s right.

This is a usual, every day occurrence for me whenever I buy something.
CASHIER: Sir, may 50 cents po kayo?
ME: Sorry, miss. Wala eh.
Even though I have a coin purse filled with 50-centavo coins, I always say that I don’t have any.
Cents is to the dollar while centavos is to the peso. I hope people will learn the difference.

Rachiel called us and invited us to a mini reunion at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in Trinoma. Hazel was absent (which terribly disappointed me because I miss her) but I had a great time with the guys present. I brought Nhil with me and I believe she was the one who took this shot.
Left to right: Rachiel, Lynda, myself, Rainne with her very cute and smart son, Anton, and lastly, Paulie.
Rachiel will be leaving again for Dubai in a few days. But before we parted, she got to try Nhil’s EEE PC.
I wish her a safe and happy flight.

Greek Guy: “Excuse me, how can I get to the airport?”
Me: “Just take a taxi.”
Greek Guy: “Ok. Thank you.”
Then just that, he opened the door of the taxi I was about to board. He went inside the car and the taxi sped off. I was left dumbfounded. When I turned around all the people behind me had the same look on their faces.
I couldn’t believe he stole my cab!
Funny thing was, although I should have felt angry, the truth is that I wasn’t. I smiled at the people behind me and said out loud, “Well, let’s just be kind to tourists.”
They smiled back.

My best bud just gave birth to a very beautiful baby girl. And she gave her an equally beautiful name:
AMAYA MAHIMIG
Good luck, Biela! I’m very sure you’ll be a great mom to Amaya.

I haven’t used Photoshop for almost a year now. Back when I was with Sterling Paper, I used that software in my everyday work as I was then handling six graphic artists and supervising their creative output. Of course I wasn’t near their level of proficiency, but I was able to learn enough to make good use of it.
And so today I tried my hands at it again. I just wanted to know if I could still use it. I sat almost for an hour thinking of what graphic or image project should I practice on till I noticed my blog header. The previous header was just a painting of a futuristic city. I got to thinking, “Why did I use this sci-fi pic? I’m not blogging about sci-fi. I’m blogging about my life.”
So I created a header depicting my life as it is today. And it is fitting.
For she is my life.

My old Compaq Armada saddles my Eee PC and a Gameboy Advance. The one in the middle is obviously my favorite.
And as my Eee PC House wallpaper says… Aaaahhh!!!

I just played one of the oldest Google games around and it really sparked my so far boring day.
I typed “Manoel is” in the Google search bar and made a search. The results I got were very interesting although of course, they didn’t make sense for me because the Manoels mentioned in the list are not me but some fellow namesakes of mine.
But still, it was fun! You should do it one time you get bored in front of your computer.
“Manoel is” Google Search Results:
