A white piece of paper was stapled to the bulletin board this morning. Our company is inviting us, employees, to watch the new Indiana Jones movie. For free. It’s their treat.
I would love to go. I haven’t seen a film since… see, I can’t remember the last one. I’m sure it would still be fun watching Harrison Ford whack his whip around. I don’t mind if it’s a 65 year-old man wearing that hat and brandishing that whip; it’s still Harrison Ford. The man oozes with masculinity and charisma.

Hey, it’s not a big deal to admire someone who has a body part that also dangles, right? I like him best as Han Solo, though.
It’s time to go home now. I just checked the bulletin board again and the Indiana Jones invite is still empty of signatures. I can’t believe no one’s signing up. I hope they do.
Now why do I have a hard time listing my name first? Aaarghh! One of these days I’ve got to learn to stand up, get what I want, act how I wish to act.
I’m pathetic.
no one’s signing up kasi..
i don’t know. baka they feel like the company should spend its money on things that they owe its employees. such as benefits and the like.
would love to sign-up din for the free movie, but don’t want to be the first one in the list. hehe.
ang loser ng dating ko no’n noh. ‘cuse me. hehe.
Why do you still need to sign up? Shouldn’t it be a given that ALL employees are invited to that? Your company’s cheap, man. Haha.
@Hazel
Ahhh…..
you’re right.
Cheapo.
Hahahaha!
baka may prize sa unang magsusulat ng name niya – indiana jones memorabilia hehehe…
go na papa ces, write your name… write your name… (chanting)
@bluejeansgirl
No prize. But how I wish the first one on the list gets the largest bucket of popcorn and a full-sized soda!!
i heard may free popcorn daw yon. invited naman lahat e, they just need to find out who are going for sure.
“One of these days I’ve got to learn to stand up, get what I want, act how I wish to act.”
I tell that to myself all the time too.
Don’t worry Papa Ces, we’re not pathetic. We’re just human.
Thanks Jayme!
Thanks for the reassurance.
