The One With The Children’s Books
November 12, 2007 by papa ces
Some of my fondest childhood memories are of discovering the wonder of the printed word. When I am in the bookstore, I always surprisingly find myself having been dragged by my feet at the children’s section. And I don’t get ashamed of picking a brightly colored book, no matter if its jacket says Ages 5 & Below, sitting on the carpeted floor and reading with the other kids.
Sometimes I even find myself reading out loud. It relaxes me and reopens up my mind to imaginations and knowledge that originally played a big part in forming into what I am today.
Let’s grab a children’s book once in a while and read it to ourselves or to that little child sitting beside you, eagerly awaiting the next turning of the pages.

I love children’s books! Haven’t tried sitting down in the play area of the bookstore and reading aloud with the other kids, though. Will try that one time. Hehehe.
Let’s have that activity for our next date. What do you think?
